step oneclimb
is narrow enough to fit into ascent tracks left by ski mountaineers. Its
running surface is large enough to provide sufficient flotation in loose
snow conditions.
step two the binding plates can be fitted with detachable crampons. the crampons provide solid traction unmatched by snowshoes and allow very effective and safe traversing of steep and icy slopes. the binding plates can be removed from the skis and used separately similar to regular crampons for safe grip in steep terrain.
step three reliability under a variety of conditions and easy handling are crucial features for use in high alpine terrain. climb is easy and quick to split and reassemble, in low temperatures and in situations of stress and danger.
step four split in two climb is small enough to fit into a backpack. this feature improves riding control and reduces the risk of injury in case of a fall.
